This May, we are undertaking a sponsored 16-mile walk in support of the Royal United Hospitals (RUH) Bath. The RUH provides vital care to a diverse range of patients, and one department holds a special place in our hearts: the Paediatric Department. This incredible team oversees the care of Ivy, the child of one of our colleagues.

Ivy was born with a rare genetic condition called Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, which requires her to see numerous consultants and specialists. Her care is coordinated by a dedicated paediatric consultant at the RUH who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her treatment is accessible and helps Ivy thrive to the best of her ability.
