Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. It is the selected charity of my friend Linda Goode, who has been raising awareness and funds for the past 2 years whilst living with brain cancer.

The devastation it brings young families is unspeakable. So every bit of recognition and funding it can get is desperately needed. It's too little too late for some, there's a massive lag in terms of advancements of treatments available...it needs urgent attention.

We go through life just hoping it doesn't happen to us, but it does happen to people. Real people: good people, friends, parents, children, even babies. People who have faith that there is something that can be done to cure it. Only to find that the treatments and research are lagging behind due to lack of funding.

Please help me fund the fight.

Together we will find a cure.
