Story
Bendrigg challenges perceptions of disabled and disadvantaged people through adventurous activities.
A donation of £40 could support a person with a disability to try climbing and start to believe in what they can do, rather than what they think they can't.
We use adaptive equipment and specialist knowledge to enable people take part in activities they may have never dreamt possible, due to their disability or social disadvantage. Your donation will help to unlock the confidence of disabled and disadvantaged people from across the UK.
I am Michelle a wheelchair user from scotland. I have been to bendrigg trust holidays numerous times and I absolutely love the place. The whole staff team are incredible and help people with all sorts of disabilities to adapt activities any way that they need to so that everyone can take part. Activities include climbing, zip wire, adaptive bikes and caving.
Because bendrigg is a charity they only have limited funds and anything that I can raise will help them improve even more, buy new equipment, help some people who can't afford to go without funding, improving the building and contributing to running costs and continue to be able to run such a brilliant charity for many many years to come.
In may 2027 I will be completing the Edinburgh half marathon to raise money for them to continue making such a difference to the lives of people with disabilities. Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated! 💜
