It is that time of year for my plea for Restart lives, an organisation that is very close to my heart. Like many people, I had a misconception about homelessness before I began working with ReStart. These are not people looking for a handout, these are people are trying to better themselves and their situation and Restart is right next to them as they do this. Restart not only provides a weekly hot meal for London’s rough sleepers but they work with them on employment opportunities, mental and physical health initiatives and provide daily support as these people try to get back on their feet. I know times are tough, but they’re even tougher for the rough sleepers so any help you can give is massively appreciated.
