They say cancer is the worst way to meet the best people, and it's true.

Last year my mum was diagnosed with a 2nd primary cancer. The Christie Hospital have been incredible from diagnosis to her ringing the bell.

From Proton beam therapy to simple care for people the Christie charity is part of what makes all this possible.

I'm not in great shape for the marathon, but this time its personal. With love and support in my heart I will make that finish line.
