Within my profession, I can see the difference Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, can make to parents who have unfortunately lost a child during their pregnancy. This charity offers the most amazing support to those most needed during one of the darkest times of their pregnancy.

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby. They work in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care. Sands also promotes improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

Sands depend on the amazing energies of their supporters to raise the vital funds that they need to deliver the wide range of services that they offer. This May I will be taking to the skies, alongside a colleague - Katherine, for the 2024 Leap of Love event. We are skydiving to raise money this amazing charity.
