michelle Snell is raising money for North Devon Against Domestic Abuse Limited
It takes an average of 7 times to leave an abusive relationship. We're taking on a triathlon with a difference – 7 laps of Bude Sea Pool, a 7-mile walk from Instow to Barnstaple, and a 7-mile cycle to Braunton – all to raise funds for NDADA

Story

From 15,000 feet to 7 laps, 7 miles and 7 more — we’re still doing it for the same reason

You might remember our plan to skydive for NDADA this year. Sadly, the jump had to be cancelled. But our mission hasn’t changed.

Instead, we’re taking on the 7 7 7 Challenge — a triathlon with a twist, inspired by a difficult truth:

It takes an average of seven attempts to leave an abusive relationship.

Each attempt carries risk. Each one takes incredible courage.

So we’ll be:

🏊 Swimming 7 laps of Bude Sea Pool

🚶‍♀️ Walking 7 miles from Instow to Barnstaple

🚴‍♀️ Cycling 7 miles from Barnstaple to Braunton

We’re raising £5,000 for NDADA, who are there for survivors through every step, every attempt, every time someone finds the strength to try again.

Please donate if you can. Every penny makes a real difference.

Thank you 💜

Michelle
