Little Sparks Enfield works with children in Enfield who have complex medical conditions, or who are deemed as having a short life expectancy. Their access to activities can be very limited; something that other children may take for granted. Siblings of these children can also feel isolated. Little Sparks offers a safe place for them to talk, feel included and express themselves through play and craft activities, supported by specially trained volunteers. Bereavement work is vital for these children throughout their grief journey. This is why we offer one-to-one work with children; making sure they are emotionally supported in all aspects of their lives. Our annual Memory Day means that we can continue to support these families for as long as they need us. Our aim is to ensure that children and families have long lasting, positive memories.

Story

Our wonderful husband, father and grandad Alan Spicer sadly passed away on Tuesday 26th November. His last wish was to have no flowers just to donate any spare money to Little Sparks children's charity.
