Michelle Clegg was an incredible woman, wife, and mother who sadly passed away on the 24th May 2026 at the age of 52, after decades long battles. No matter the extreme medical challenges she faced she will be remembered as someone who got the most out of life and gave so much to so many people. She was a truly selfless person.

In that, the Salford Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage was a cause incredibly close to her heart. She was a member of the pilgrimage family for over 20 years, with over 10 years service as a volunteer. She led youth groups from Urmston, and passed on the tradition to her family, with Lourdes being a pilgrimage they make every year.

Lourdes was her favourite place on this planet.
