Story
Steve was brave, strong and focused throughout his battle with brain cancer so that's what I shall try and be when I tackle the Adidas Manchester Marathon on 19th April. I am a strong believer in challenging yourself so here I am nearly 5 years on from my first ever marathon doing it all again. Training is tough and I'm still working my way towards the race and all 26 miles of it. I shall run in Steve's memory and have chosen his birthday '241166' as my race number.
The Primrose Hospice were there for Steve in 2022 and gave him courage, strength, love and care in abundance. Without them I'm not sure how we would have navigated those final weeks. So I shall raise any funds I can in his memory.
Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre provides care and advice to patients living with a life-limiting illness and support for families in the North East Worcestershire area.
As an independent charity, we rely on the support of individuals and businesses to help us to raise the £1.95 million needed each year for us to provide our services free to all who require them.
Thank you for enabling us to care for those who need it most.
