My chosen charity for this run is Vascilitis UK as my wife suffers from this awful condition, Vasculitis is a rare auto-immune disease where the body’s immune system attacks blood vessels instead of defending them against infection and this affects about 2-3000 new people each year in the UK.

Vasculitis UK provides support, advice, and information to those suffering from vasculitis and their families. Vasculitis UK also sponsors research into the causes and treatment of vasculitis and works to raise general awareness of all types of vasculitis. Vasculitis UK is run by volunteers who all have vasculitis.
