Throughout the pandemic, Birmingham Irish Association (BIA) supported the local community with access to a food bank and Christmas toy appeals. As we head towards the festive period, we go again with our friends across Birmingham and Solihull secondary schools, Tolkien Cluster and Birmingham GAA clubs by our side.

Together we are resurrecting the toy appeal and supporting the elderly by collecting and distributing the items mentioned on the attached flyer. Watch out for further communications from BIA, schools and clubs to raise the profile of this initiative

I’m bringing together a few friends and family to do a fundraising walk on Sunday 4th December where we will attempt to walk across Birmingham and Solihull calling at each GAA club. A total of 22 miles.

My ask, please share this JustGiving weblink, if you can contribute then thank you, and encourage others to come together and help our wider community.

Many of our elderly helped us through the hard times, now let’s give something back by keeping them #warmatheart
