Transaid is a fantastic organisation that works in the developing world, putting in place transport infrastructure where it is needed the most, and raising safety standards through projects such as HGV driver training.

Transaid has had incredible success fighting Malaria through its MAMaz Against Malaria programme, joining forces with other international partners to ensure medicines are available, and build sustainable future capacity to continue with the work longer term.

Another focus for Transaid is the ongoing provision of an emergency transport support scheme, helping to overcome the challenges pregnant women experience accessing essential life saving medical facilities.

The organisation is made up of a great group of people who work tirelessly to ensure Transaid continues to have a real impact, improving lives and addressing serious problems and challenges.

In October 2024, a team of from the Microlise Group will take on the Cycle Kenya, joining others from the road transport industry in Transaid's 11th cycle challenge in Africa. The team will cycle 474km over 6 days, facing extreme heat, tough terrain and challenging ascents.
