Midlands Virtual Land’s End to John o’ Groats Challenge
From March to June, colleagues across the Midlands team will be taking on a virtual Land’s End to John o’ Groats (LEJOG) challenge - covering 874 miles (1,410 km) together in support of Beyond Dementia.
Rather than one person attempting the journey alone, this is a team effort. Participants will contribute distance in whatever way works for them - walking, running, cycling, swimming or everyday movement - all of which will count towards our shared progress north.
We will be tracking our collective distance and sharing updates as we pass real‑world landmarks along the route, from Cornwall through the Midlands and into the Scottish Highlands, finishing at John o’ Groats.
Why we are doing this:
Beyond Dementia carries out vital work supporting people living with dementia and those around them. This challenge is about raising funds, awareness and bringing people together through something inclusive, achievable and positive.
If you are able to donate, sponsor the team, or simply follow our progress, every bit of support genuinely makes a difference.
