Story
On Saturday 14th September, a team of 20 from Miele GB are walking, jogging, and running 100km’s down the Thames Path.
The full route heads upstream from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede, then on past Windsor, Maidenhead and Marlow all the way to Henley – overall we expect it to take over 24 hours to complete.
We are doing this in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families with children having treatment in hospital.
Their houses offer much more than just a place to stay; they provide family activities, peer support, respite, and many other services. This means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life with reduced emotional and financial strain.
They help over 6,000 families each year and now, more than ever, need our support.
