With my friends from my workplace, we'll be tackling the South Coast Mighty Hike in June this year in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support! Hoping to at least reach the £250 pledge, which can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for one day (though let's shoot for many more together!).

This £250 could provide people living with cancer and their loved ones medical, practical and emotional support. This kind of support is invaluable not just in the acute clinical setting like where I am based, but also in the community setting (if not more so); the everyday life of a person, particularly in the current-day context of increasing costs of living.
