Sleep Out 2026 · 9 October 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Glass Door Homeless Charity coordinates the UK’s largest network of open-access services for people affected by homelessness. Year round we provide support and hope, so people can get off, and stay off the streets. Our vision is a world where no one has to sleep on the streets of London.

Story

Hello,

Tomas (12yr old) , Jamie (9yr old) and I will be sleeping out on Duke of York square on October 9th to raise money for Glass Door, a charity supporting homeless people to get stability and get back on track.

Below you can find the official team description but in essence we would be very thankful if you can support the charity by donating and show Tomas and Jamie that one can always make a difference.

Of course all money goes to the charity

St Mary Abbots have been supporting Glass Door for a number of years (some members for over 10 years) by participating in their yearly Sleep Out fundraiser. We have a close relationships with the Charity and as a team hope to raise as much money as possible.

We raise money for Glass Door Homeless Charity because we know they support and shelter those in the local community who are at an absolute crisis point with nowhere else to turn.

Glass Door Homeless Charity welcomes everyone as their guest, giving them some stability before helping them move off the streets for good. Their doors are open to everyone, no matter who they are. In winter, they run emergency night shelters, providing a hot meal and a safe place to sleep, and year-round, they offer expert advice and support to help people find a route out of homelessness.

Please donate what you can, because everyone has the right to call somewhere home.

Thank you!
