We did it!
We were “lucky enough” to have a storm in London so in the end slept under some church arches with actual people who have to do it every night (horrendous).
Amazing experience and glad to have a bed every night. Best shower ever.
Incredibly proud of Tomas and of our supporters. THANK YOU.
Any parents or friends out there inspired to do this yourselves, let me know and I’ll let you know for next year.

Hello,
Tomas (11yr old) and I will be sleeping out on the street on October 3rd to raise money for Glass Door, a charity supporting homeless people to get stability and get back on track.
Below you can find the official team description but in essence we would be very thankful if you can support the charity by donating and show Tomas that one can always make a difference on his first ever fundraiser ;)
Of course all money goes to the charity

Gracias!

St Mary Abbots have been supporting Glass Door for a number of years (some members for over 10 years) by participating in their yearly Sleep Out fundraiser. We have a close relationships with the Charity and as a team hope to raise as much money as possible.
We raise money for Glass Door Homeless Charity because we know they support and shelter those in the local community who are at an absolute crisis point with nowhere else to turn.
Glass Door Homeless Charity welcomes everyone as their guest, giving them some stability before helping them move off the streets for good. Their doors are open to everyone, no matter who they are. In winter, they run emergency night shelters, providing a hot meal and a safe place to sleep, and year-round, they offer expert advice and support to help people find a route out of homelessness.
Please donate what you can, because everyone has the right to call somewhere home.
Thank you!
