Story

Mika passed away last month from heart failure, and losing him has left a huge hole in my life. He was more than just a dog. He was the inspiration behind Chihuahua School and the reason so many resources, videos and training programmes exist today to help Chihuahuas and their owners navigate difficult behaviour struggles with kindness and understanding.
Through Chihuahua School, Mika’s legacy lives on in every Chihuahua who has been helped to feel safer, calmer and more optimistic about the world around them.
In Mika’s memory, I have donated his unused medication to the Worldwide Veterinary Service so it can help another dog in need. If you have in-date veterinary medication sitting unused at home, please consider donating it too rather than letting it go to waste.
The Worldwide Veterinary Service does incredible work around the world, supporting animals who would otherwise go without treatment. They provide veterinary care, emergency aid, training, supplies and support to struggling communities and rescue organisations, helping countless animals receive lifesaving treatment and care.
Their work matters because access to veterinary care is not something every animal has. For many dogs and animals around the world, organisations like this are the difference between suffering and receiving help.
If you would like to honour Mika’s memory, please consider making a donation to support their important work. I know times are difficult for many people right now, but even a small donation can help provide medication, treatment and care to animals who desperately need it.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for helping me keep Mika’s legacy alive in a way that continues to help dogs.
Your support means so much. Thank you for being part of this tribute and helping their legacy live on in such a meaningful way.
