Story

Like a duck to water

I’ve done charity fundraising events in the past including London marathon, Ride London 100, and London2Paris bike ride - notably no mention of swimming!

On 19 September 2026 I will take on my toughest challenge: the 2 mile (3,218m) course of London Swim Serpentine in Hyde Park for the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) charity, Back-up.

While I know times are challenging for many I am going to ask you to donate to Back-up if you are able.

The charity is passionate in being driven by a single goal: achieving a world where everyone affected by SCI can reach their full potential - building practical skills through wheelchair training, boosting confidence with work skills or supporting families through very challenging times.

Please donate to help them achieve their goal.
