As part of a group of colleagues from MTC Liverpool, I'm running the Liverpool Half Marathon this year. This is the first time I will have run this distance, and I'm treating it as an opportunity to get better habits in place before hitting 50 later this year!

We are extremely lucky to have Clatterbridge in our area, doing amazing work supporting patients and families during some of the toughest moments of their lives. Personally, they were there during my first real experience of cancer when my nan was ill in the 1990s. More recently, they treated and supported my mother‑in‑law as she beat cancer a couple of years ago. I’m sure in the future they will be there again if needed by me, family, or friends.
