Mike's fundraiser for Quest RDA

Mike Clark is raising money for Quest RDA

Surrey Hills Classic 2025 · 10 May 2025

Quest RDA provides therapeutic riding for children and adults with disabilities and special needs. There is a multitude of benefits from riding. Quest is a charity and receives no state funding. Everyone involved with Quest is a volunteer so all money raised goes directly towards helping our riders.

Story

It is almost 2 years since I last did a big ride, so I have committed to doing 100 miles in the Surrey Hills in May, to raise money for a small local charity that has become very dear to me and Debbie (and for which Debbie is a committed volunteer and committee member).

Quest RDA enables children, adults and volunteers to have the opportunity to experience enjoyment and to achieve personal goals through participation in sporting and therapeutic equestrian programmes, in a safe and supportive environment; resulting in improved quality of life.

Horse riding is an extremely beneficial form of therapy for adults & children with a multitude of disabilities and special needs. It helps in many ways, such as giving physical, emotional, educational & social benefits to all of the participants.

Quest, based in Chobham, is an independent registered charity and is a member group of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).

I am not aiming to break any records with my ride - the aim is to get round safely and hopefully to raise some money that will make a big difference to this wonderful cause. If you are able to help in any way, Debbie and I would be so grateful.

Thank you for your support and for taking the time to read this xxx
