Hannah and I are raising money for Alzheimer's Society this year in memory of Hannah's Gran Margery and my Grandad Jim, who have both sadly passed away in recent years through complications from dementia.

We are taking on the Alzheimer's society's “Trek26” challenge where we will be hiking 13 miles through the lake district around Ullswater on the 4th of July 2026.

Right now there are 1 million people living with dementia in the UK. Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.

It would mean a great deal to us if you could help by making a donation as this charity is very dear to our hearts, they offered us help and support through a difficult time.
