Unfortunately so many people are impacted by Cancer now with one in two of us being diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime - A diagnosis can be a shock and have a huge impact on an entire family. Wessex Cancer Trust provides free and local emotional support to anyone living with cancer. Through four cancer support centres they offer a drop-in service, professional counselling, complementary therapies, activities, support groups and courses. My Mum (Maureen/Mummy G - the legend that is) has been a volunteer for many years at Wessex Cancer Trust and I get to hear about the amazing impact they have on many peoples lives during what is a very challenging time. Having also lost friends and family to cancer, I'd love to raise some money to support this wonderful charity and I would really appreciate your help in raising as much as I can.

The Challenge:-

My business, Hawker Chase are sponsoring 12 individuals (including me) to head out to Chamonix, where the challenge will start - Magnificent Mont Buet stands at 3,096 metres / 10,000 ft (3 x the height of Mount Snowdon) and is an exhilarating challenge, providing panoramic views of the Mont Blanc massif and Switzerland, stretching as far as the Matterhorn - and the 12 of us need to hike/climb up to the summit and back down in a day which is likely to be 12 to 14 hours of constant trekking!

As Hawker Chase are sponsoring the event, all the money raised will be going directly to the charities chosen by the individuals attending the event. So if you are able to give any amount to my choice, it would be massively appreciated!!
