I am raising funds for Jackie's Drop in Centre as my chosen charity in my Captaincy Year at Chesfield Downs Golf Club.

I met Annette four years ago through our shared love of golf. She is a wonderful person and has a lovely daughter named Tazzie. Unfortunately, Tazzie is autistic, non-verbal, and requires constant care as she is unable to look after herself independently.

Jackie’s Drop-In Centre plays an incredibly important role in Tazzie's life. The centre gives her the opportunity to spend time outside of her care home, socialise with others, and take part in activities and experiences she would not otherwise have access to. These days out allow Tazzie to enjoy new events, build connections, and experience a richer quality of life.

Jackie's Drop-In Centre is an award winning Social Centre for people that have disabilities. We provide a happy social environment to allow our members the thrive and beat social isolation within the disability sector. JDI host a whole range of full and fun activities, daytrips, courses and lots of different surprises along the way, the more money we have the more we can provide and by helping to donate to JDI will help this to happen. JDI receives no direct funding and relies heavily on donations to help the running of the Centre. JDI are not just for the disabled community but for the general public too, we assist with moving people on or helping with advice and advocacy.
