As many of you know I got involved with the charity Reverse Rett as Elsie Buckley has Rett syndrome.

There are so many young people and their families affected by this disorder, and a group of us want to help fund finding the cure, which is within reach.

Through gene therapy, Rett syndrome could be the first rare post-natal neurological disorder to have a cure. This could then impact finding the cure to many neurological conditions and help so many young children avoid going through what Elsie has to go through everyday.

As many of you know, I hate walking, so doing 100km in two days along the jurassic coast is really going to hurt, especially my feet, which are already in bad shape!

Myself and ten others from the financial services industry will attempt this to raise funds for clinical trials, not because any of us are directly affected by Rett syndrome, but because we truly want to make a difference, so families won't have to face rett going forward.
