I've decided to do something crazy and enter an MMA charity event to raise money for cancer research. This cause is very close to my heart, having lost loved ones to this awful disease. I am incredibly grateful to be here today and want to make a difference.

Cancer has deeply affected my family. My brother was only 17 when he lost his father to cancer, a loss that deeply impacted him, me, and our entire family. Around the same time, our grandad also passed away from cancer. Additionally, I have dear friends who have lost their mother to this relentless disease, leaving an unfillable void in their lives.

Participating in this event will be a significant challenge for me, as I've never done anything like this before. However, I believe this challenge will provide me with focus and a positive mental attitude in the months leading up to my fight on November 22nd, the day before my birthday.
