This October, NG-IT are taking on the Cyber Step Challenge 2026 as part of Cyber Security Awareness Month to raise funds for The Cyber Helpline.

Every day, individuals and families are affected by scams, hacked accounts, online abuse and digital harm. Victims can lose money, confidence, peace of mind and their sense of safety in just a few clicks.

The Cyber Helpline provides free, practical support to help people recover from cybercrime and feel safe again.

Just £25 can help The Cyber Helpline support another person affected by cybercrime, online harm, or fraud.

Every step and donation will help ensure no one has to face cybercrime alone.

That's why NG-IT have joined this movement to help walk around the world, raising funds for a vital cause.

That's not all, though! We've decided to add a little healthy competition to spur our participants on....

20 members of NG-IT have split into two teams of 10 and will be going head-to-head throughout October to see which team can clock up the most steps. Who will take the crown? Follow along on our socials to find out.
