For over 30 years, Waterloo Community Counselling (WCC) has delivered life-changing counselling services and mental health support, providing over 7,500 hours of high-quality, individual therapy to 695 people alone last year. WCC provides a multilingual counselling service, offering counselling to refugees and asylum-seekers in over 23 different languages at no cost to the client.

WCC are one of the few organisations in London offering Low-Cost Counselling, ensuring long-term, professional mental health support remains accessible to those facing financial hardship.

I became aware of WCC because my wife Laura got involved as a trustee last year, on the clinical side as she is a therapist herself. I believe the mission of the charity is vital. Given the difficulties that many charities face to maintain the funding for such important work, I am delighted to make whatever contribution I can. My fitness certainly needs some work between now and October, but there will be no shortage of motivation in supporting this great cause!
