I’m raising money of Sally a family friend by taking part in the London marathon next year

Please help me to raise money for this worth cause it would be much appreciated!

Life came to an abrupt halt in August 2022 when Sally discovered she had a malignant growth in her leg and was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma – a rare type of bone cancer. The pain in her thigh that had become increasingly worse over the months was caused by a 20cm tumour growing in the bone.

"Life changed overnight for me and my family. I didn't realise how much I took for granted. I was extremely fortunate that my GP sent me for an x-ray when she did. Raising awareness of symptoms is so important to ensure GPs refer patients for x-rays and scans. Early diagnosis and treatment is vital to make sure patients have more treatment options and better outcome".
