I plan on riding the width of Britain, following the Way of the Roses route from Morecambe to Bridlington in under 12hrs. It is approx 171miles and takes in some fantastic views over Yorkshire.

I have chosen this day as it is (close to) the Summer Solstice- so plenty of time to have daylight to complete the distance. Although I'm aiming for sub 12hrs, I will have approx 16.5hrs of daylight.

It is a challenging route with some substantial hill climbs in - so anyone local can come join for a few miles or just wave at me.
