*Weʼre raising £2,000 to help fund Life Projects - a collection of initiatives set up to help support local communities in the North East of England.*

I am excited to let you all know that I will be running the Kielder Marathon on the 8th October for a collection of initiatives called Life Projects.

This is an amazing project run by my church, which aims to support and reach some of the poorest communities in the North East of England. In the last twelve months, Life Projects food initiatives have supported over 2000 people with their daily shopping. Providing local people with an offer of cheap high quality food, giving them the dignity to pay for food and household items at low cost, during the cost of living crisis.

The initiative continues to grow in demand as the need increases across the region. I really believe that the project is making a significant impact and difference to many people's lives!

The money that will be raised will contribute towards the purchase of more high quality food, which will enable more households to be supported across the North East, especially in the run up to winter when energy costs increase. Help me reach my goal!

Kielder is one of the toughest but the most beautiful marathons to run. It is also my first marathon in 14 years, so I am definitely pushing myself out of my comfort zone!
