In the last year our schools have begun to work with a fantastic charity called My Time who support young carers. Initially it shocked us how many young people this term, young carers applied to - and it is absolutely right that it does. My time helps to provide pastoral support, fun and respite for these young people who desperately deserve it. And at a time when accessing publicly funded support is increasingly challenging, charities like this are filling the void and we thank them for it.

I hope that it is a cause you feel you can get behind, and if nothing else, you can enjoy the thought that Ed and I will be in physical discomfort and fluorescent pink vests as we run, cycle and swim in the following events:

- Wimborne 10 mile run: 19th November 2023
