Hello. I am running the Chicago Marathon with my wife in October this year and we are raising money for the Make a Wish Foundation.

Since becoming parents, we have realised how lucky we are to have a fit and healthy child. Unfortunately, not everyone is so lucky, and it’s heartbreaking to hear stories of children having their whole childhoods ripped away from them. We cannot imagine the pain. The Make a Wish Foundation does fantastic work to bring a little joy to those families.

Anyone that knows me will understand that my wife forces me to run and it’s not something I particularly enjoy, so doing a marathon is always a massive challenge for me. Raising money for such a great charity, knowing that it could make a difference even for one child, will make it all worthwhile.

I would be eternally grateful if you could spare anything to help the charity. Every penny counts, no matter how small.
