Story
Who am I?
I'm a Clinical Research Fellow in Hepatology based in Milan and Cambridge, and I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to announce that I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 to raise funds for PSC Support.
What is PSC?
Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) is a rare, chronic liver disease with no cure, and I’ve seen firsthand how much support and resources are needed to help those affected. PSC Support is an incredible charity that works tirelessly to improve the lives of people living with PSC, and I’m honoured to be fundraising for them.
What does PSC Support do?
PSC Support provides:
💡 Reliable Information: Trusted resources for patients and healthcare professionals
🤝 Community and Support: Building networks that help people feel less isolated
🔬 Research Funding: Supporting studies that aim to find better treatments and, one day, a cure
📢 Awareness and Advocacy: Campaigning for improved care and access to clinical trials
You can learn more about their amazing work here.
Running 13.1 miles (21 km) is a big challenge for me, but it’s nothing compared to the strength shown every day by those living with PSC. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference.
Thank you so much for your support. It means the world to me and to those we’re helping through PSC Support. #LetsBeatPSC
