Story
I am walking about 200 kms along the Camino de Santiago and raising money for a fantastic charity.
CHASE Africa seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of women in rural areas of East Africa, and thereby promote healthy communities and a healthy environment.
At the core of its work is education. Its programmes give women the tools they need to transform their lives and those of their children. Enabling young women to complete their education and avoid underage pregnancy has huge positive ripple effects.
Its efforts to reduce gender based violence, FGM, and the incidence of illnesses such as HIV are all the more important now when aid budgets are being slashed.
Thank you very much for your generosity.
