My son Myles; age 6. Has been attending Hope House hospice since he was 4, one year after his life limiting incurable neurological diagnosis; 4H Leukodystrophy. The hospice provides a huge array of support for both myself and myles such as holistic therapies for him including hydrotherapy, respite support, symptom management, grief counselling, end of life individual care to name a few. they even support siblings of affected children and, wider families. Hospices are heart breakingly not supported by the government meaning they rely solely on donations, fundraising events and gifts in wills. Without the support of Myles hospice I would hate to imagine where I would be. They are our extended family. It is my ambition to give something back to them after all they have done for us.
