Team: Longest Day of Golf at Milford Golf Club

Longest day of golf · 21 June 2026

Age UK Surrey is an independent local charity helping older people make the most of life and be free from isolation, poverty and discrimination. Our activities include information and advice, counselling, health and well-being and home/gardening services. We rely on donations to support our work.

Story

On the longest day of the year, we’re taking on an extreme golfing challenge at Milford Golf Club!

On 21 June, we will attempt to play 72 holes of golf in a single day — from sunrise at 4:50am until the evening — all to raise money for Age UK Surrey. This ambitious and gruelling challenge will take around 17 hours to complete and involve walking an incredible 50,000–60,000 steps across four full rounds.

We’re proud to be supporting the club’s 2026 charity, Age UK Surrey, with a particular focus on the Clockhouse Community Centre in Milford, which provides vital support, activities and social connection for older people in our community.

By pushing ourselves physically, we hope to make a meaningful difference to those who rely on these services.

If you’re able to support us, any donation — big or small — would be hugely appreciated and will go directly towards this fantastic cause.

Thank you for your support!
