We support families and children to improve their lives

Story

Participants: Helen Dawkins, Kathryn Holdstock, Siobhan Brown, Mae Tyers, Lauren Docksey, Sarah Adul, Charlie Roberts, Shaun McNamara, Ben Harper, Ant Wilson, Warren Johnson, Stuart Clay, Mark Stredder, Shane Dehayes, Mark Potter and Louise Webb.

On the 12th October, the above team from Miller Homes East Midlands will be undertaking their own self-guided challenge of completing a 50k walk along the Cotswold Way from Cirencester to Wooton-Under-Edge in one day. We expect there to be tantrums, maybe tears, lots of blisters and some lost toe nails along the way, but we are determined to complete the challenge and raise as much money as possible for our chosen Charity.

The team is raising money for Children First Derby, a local charity to the Regional Office, which was established in 1974. Children First Derby's mission is to relieve the distress and suffering experienced by families and children. The charity works to benefit vulnerable children, young people and families, making life improvements by:

Responding to the needs of children where stress within the home may adversely affect their welfare or development.

Providing support for children who are regarded as vulnerable and who may be at risk of social exclusion.

Delivering community services designed to foster the general wellbeing of families with children.

Providing services for parents which will enable them to better respond to the personal needs and financial support of their children.

Please help to support us all! Thank You.
