Unfortunately, last year my family and I lost both of my Grandad's to Alzheimer's. They were such a massive part of my family and they both meant the world to me. Therefore, on Christmas Day I decided I wanted to run the Leeds Half Marathon in May 2026 to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.

One of the reasons I chose Leeds is that my Dad's family is from Leeds and my Grandad lived there is whole life. I am now also studying physiotherapy at Leeds Beckett University which also makes running in Leeds special.

I want to raise as much money as possible to support families such as mine who have suffered as a result of the disease and so that less families have to experience slowly losing a loved one, to such a horrible disease.
