We support disabled people to live, work and enjoy life

Story

We are running the 2024 London Marathon to raise money for the Enham Trust. An amazing charity that help support disabled people live, work and enjoy as independent life as possible.

There are almost 14 million disabled people in the UK and they're twice as likely to be unemployed and live in accommodation unsuitable for their needs. The Enham Trust (and ourselves) believe that disabled people deserve to live full and happy lives, and that their disability should not act as a barrier. That’s why they provide supportive and accessible environments for them to live, personalised care that promotes their independence and access to activities and employment that promote education, self-fulfilment and achievement.

The Enham Trust rely solely on donations to provide personal support to over 6700 disabled people a year so we feel honoured to run for this amazing cause!

Steve has worked for Motability for over 20 years, a charity that also helps to empower disabled people by enabling them to lease a new car or powered wheelchair/scooter, so this is a charity that is close to our hearts that we strongly believe in.

This will be Steve's second marathon and Millie's first (and last!) and this will be our most challenging running adventure yet! Please help support us and this wonderful charity :)
