Story
As many people know, on the 4th of October 2015, we lost my Mum, Judi Goodwin to Cancer. To anyone who knew Mum, they know how funny, caring and kind she was. Although I was young, I still remember her laughter, hugs and support and that I will never forget.
Whenever she is spoken about, it is never with a frown, it often consists of smiles and laughter as they recount a hilarious memory, which keeps her memory alive, and is testimony to the impact she had on people.
It has now been 10 years since Mum passed away, and from the 11 year old girl who had just started secondary school, there is a lot that she has missed. However, I write this knowing she would be proud of everything I, and both my sisters have achieved.
In October, a week after mums 10 year anniversary I have signed myself up for a half marathon, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support in her memory. For those who know me, they know I love to jump up and down on a trampoline, but running is a bit of a stretch for me! So a half marathon, seems impossible.
Any donations to this incredible charity, and to give me some motivation to keep running on the rainy days would be highly appreciated.
