I’m fundraising for Stemette Futures, a charity working to expand access to STEM careers and opportunities for girls and young women from under-privileged backgrounds✨

When talented people are excluded from STEM due to a lack of opportunity or exposure, the impact is felt far beyond the individual. It leads to fewer scientific discoveries, slower medical progress, and missed opportunities to develop new medicines, technologies and solutions that improve lives. A lack of access doesn’t just limit careers, it also limits innovation.

Stemette Futures exists to prevent this loss of potential. Through mentoring, skills development and structured programmes, the charity helps young people gain exposure to STEM careers, build confidence, and access clear pathways into industry and research. This support ensures talent is developed and retained, rather than overlooked, enabling more people to contribute meaningfully to science and innovation.
