Story
I’m running the Leicester half marathon on October 11th and I’m raising money for Blaby District Spartans Inclusive FC - a club and charity that uses football to bring people together, build confidence, boost wellbeing, and create opportunities for children, young people, and adults with additional needs.
As both a player and a coach, I truly believe sport should be accessible to everyone. With personal experience of the challenges faced, this cause really stood out to me when I was looking for a charity to support.
The club is growing beyond the pitch too, supporting people in all areas of life, and runs holiday clubs for children aged 6–16 who can’t access mainstream provisions, giving families vital support and respite.
Any support would mean so much, helping this incredible organisation continue its work and keeping me motivated as I train for my first half marathon!
