Story
Both my Nanny and Grandad have unfortunately lost their lives to cancer. This was devastating for me and my family in so many ways. The hospice care is something that offered us comfort, care and compassion during those challenging times, for which we are eternally grateful. My Nanny and Grandad were my greatest joy and I feel so privileged to have been loved by them unconditionally and to have had them always in my corner. As a result, I am running this half marathon to raise money to support The Hospice of St Francis and in memory of my wonderful Nanny and Grandad.
The Hospice support over 2000 local people who are managing, or recovering from, serious illness. They help them to live their lives well by improving/managing symptoms, working with them to achieve personal goals and providing care and comfort to those in their final stages of life.
Thank you for anything you are able to donate to support me and the Hospice - it really does mean the world!
