The Yorkshire Three Peaks · 20 July 2024

In the UK, 270 people are rushed to hospital every day due to heart attack. At The Mitchy Foundation our aim is simple, to save lives and keep hearts living longer. We do this by providing full cardiovascular screening and providing expert educational advice.

Story

On July 20th, we will be completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for The Mitchy Foundation.

The Mitchy Foundation is a newly formed charity set up by two children that lost their dad "Mitchy" to a sudden and unexpected heart attack. The team endeavor to use the loss of their dad as motivation to prevent other families suffering such devastation.

The Mitchy Foundation is dedicated to preventing sudden heart attacks and cardiovascular disease. They fund pop-up screening around the UK where they provide cardiovascular risk assessments to uncover health risks before it's too late.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent, taking on the three tallest peaks of Yorkshire all in one day.

The money raised through this effort will go directly towards further screening. On average, £25 will fund one full cardiovascular screening appointment.

Please donate whatever you can.

Thank you! ❤️
