In August 2025 we welcomed our fourth baby, Millie into the world. Millie has a complex heart condition, which has required multiple open heart surgeries in her short little life. Millie has spent most of her life in Alder Hey and whilst it has been an immensely difficult time, Alder Hey have been beyond amazing. From the Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses, Physios, Play therapists, Pharmacists, Dietitians, Musicians, volunteers and beyond, we have truly felt well looked after, not just Millie but as a whole family. Our experience has given us a whole new perspective on the kindness of strangers and we feel truly humbled and want to help give back, so this support can continue for others, who may find themselves in difficult situations whilst requiring medical intervention for their little ones. Millie’s treatment continues and we could not be more grateful to everyone at Alder Hey!

Myself (Nathan), my brother (Lewis), sister (Olivia) and her fiancé (Jake) will be running the Liverpool Half Marathon 2026 to help raise some money for Alder Hey and would be extremely grateful for all and any donations to this great cause.
