Story
After doing a few treks on my travels, I’ve decided it’s finally time to take on the Clarendon Way Walk! On the 2nd of June, I’ll be walking 26 miles, from Winchester to Salisbury, for Naomi House & Jacksplace Children’s Hospice in memory of my brother.
Naomi House & Jacksplace is an incredible place that holds some very special memories for me and my family. In 2013, after spending 12 weeks in the ICU, my brother(Ben) was moved to Naomi House for end of life care where we spent just over 3 weeks as a family. I was only 8 years old at the time, but even then I could tell the change in environment was exactly what we needed. The entire staff went above and beyond to care for all of us and create such a safe atmosphere, allowing us to recharge during that difficult period, and we will always be so grateful for them. Some of my fondest memories have come from there, including getting to spend my 8th birthday with my brother, which I will forever cherish.
I would really appreciate any donation, big or small, which will help Naomi House & Jacksplace to continue providing the amazing care and support to families.
