Help us raise funds for terminally ill patients and their families and Run Leicester in the Half Marathon or 10K on Sunday 26th October 2025.
Story
Until recently the idea of running 5K felt out of reach. But I did it, and it felt unbelievable that my consistency got me there.
Now here I am: training for a half marathon, powered by delusion, determination, and the need to prove myself right.
I’ve chosen to run for LOROS Hospice, an amazing local charity that provides free, compassionate care and support to over 2,500 terminally ill patients and their families across Leicestershire every year.
LOROS has supported many of my friends, family, and loved ones through some of life’s hardest moments. They help people live with dignity, comfort, and compassion when it matters most, and I’m really proud to be running to support them.
I’ve pledged to raise at least £100 for LOROS, which I’m hoping to exceed. Every donation, no matter how small, genuinely helps. It’ll fund vital services, counselling, bereavement support, and so much more.
So if you can spare the price of a coffee (or a cheeky pint), I’d be so grateful. You’ll be fuelling both my run and an incredible cause.
