Story
I’m running the London marathon in April and raising money to support research into ALK-positive cancer, a condition that affects too many young people and families.
This cause is especially close to my heart, in memory of Kay - a truly wonderful young girl and a much-loved family friend. Despite being diagnosed at just 18, Kay showed incredible strength and determination. She went on to train and work as a nurse, dedicating herself to caring for others even while facing her own challenges.
Kay’s courage, kindness, and resilience continue to inspire everyone who knew her.
In her honour, her amazing parents and brother have worked tirelessly to set up a charity that funds vital research into ALK-positive cancer across the world. Their efforts are helping to drive forward new treatments and give hope to others facing this disease.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help continue this important work - supporting research, raising awareness, and bringing us closer to better outcomes for patients.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and for supporting this very special cause in memory of Kay.
